Dakota is a golden retriever with great work ethic and enthusiasm. She is stubborn on both good and bad – she completes all the tasks given to her. She is very easy-to-learn and has been trained and used practically for tracking (SE VCH and search for injured animals from traffic accidents), hunting (mountain and forest hunting) and sled dog racing (Nordic style on skis). She retrieves cold and warm fowl, and dummies. She has an off and on button which enabled her to become an early very well-developed hunting dog. Some of her distinctive features are her fine stronghold, the unusually high labor intensity and capacity, social ability among other dogs and her great learning capacity.
